Head Start Policy Council

The Head Start Policy Council is comprised of fifteen (15) members, authorized to act as the Policy Council for San Antonio and Bexar County in accordance with Head Start Federal Regulations. Seven (7) members are appointed by the City Council of San Antonio with the following categories: three (3) with childhood education background, one (1) from the medical field, one (1) with a business background and two (2) with a higher education - college level background. The Commission meets every 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:15 p.m. at Department: Community Initiatives, 1227 Brady Blvd.
