| The City of San Antonio is soliciting bids for the modernization of four (4) passenger elevators at the Central Public Library located at 600 Soledad Street in San Antonio, Texas. Bidder must be a qualified elevator contractor licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation with a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in this type of work. The scope of work shall include replacement of door operators, hoist way interlocks, other door components, fixtures, and cab fans as further outlined in this specification. The Library intends to utilize an outside consultant who will oversee the project. The project duration is expected to last thirty (30) calendar days per elevator as work will be a phased process with follow-up inspections conducted before returning elevator(s) to service. |
