Convention Center Facilities Development Study
The City is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents interested in providing a facilities development study for the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Within the study, the selected Respondent shall provide recommendations regarding enhancements to current facilities; identification of potential new revenue sources and services not currently incorporated into the facility’s business model; direction of growth and improvements which may be required in order to maximize the facility’s potential to host conventions that are more affluent, larger and/or host multiple large conventions simultaneously.

A Pre-proposal Conference will held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Administrative Offices, Conference Room 1 located at 200 East Market Street at the intersection of Market and Alamo Streets at 9:00 a.m., Local Time, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Attendance at the Pre-Submittal Conference is optional, but highly encouraged.
