Joint City/County Citizens Bond Oversight Commission

A joint advisory commission to the City of San Antonio City Council and to the Bexar County Commissioners Court shall be comprised of twenty (20) members. The City of San Antonio City Council and the Bexar County Commissioners Court shall each appoint ten (10) members to serve on the Commission. Appointments of members to the Commission will be made to ensure representation from all sectors of the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The Chair and Vice-Chair of the Commission shall be selected jointly by the Mayor of the City of San Antonio and the Bexar County Judge. The Commission may create committees to advise the Commission on certain matters. The Commission will advise City and County elected officials as to the recommended process for delivery of Capital Improvement Projects, including review of scope, cost estimate, budget, schedule, public input, alternative delivery systems, program management and other capital improvement processes. The Commission will meet as often as necessary, but not less than four (4) times per year. The Commission meetings will be open to the public and held in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Open Meetings Act.
