Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee

The Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee is comprised of 11 members appointed by the Mayor and each City Councilmember. The Committee is comprised of members representing the following categories: one (1) art institution; one (1) visual arts; one (1) performing artist/musician; one (1) theater; one (1) dance; one (1) arts education; one (1) cultural artist; one (1) business; and three (3) patron of the arts. The Committee makes funding recommendations on all of the Arts and Cultural Project Applications for City grants, as outlined in the Arts and Cultural Policy and Programs. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 5:45 PM in the Municipal Plaza Building “B” Room, 114 W. Commerce Street.
